2020
Company Establishment
In 2020, we laid the foundations for our future with the establishment of Engineered Installations (EI). Our vision was to bring improved innovation, product integration and installation reliability to the vehicle, transport and mining industries. Established under the Harness Master Wiring Systems (HMWS) banner, Engineered Installations was created to provide dedicated onsite installation capabilities, technical support and practical implementation of products and solutions, strengthening the connection between product development, supply and end-user requirements.
2021
New Facility - Canning Vale
In 2021, Engineered Installations took ownership of its first metropolitan facility in Western Australia, representing an important step in the growth and development of the business. This investment provided a dedicated operational base to better service our customers, improve product accessibility and establish local distribution capabilities within WA. The facility also provided greater flexibility to manage inventory, coordinate installations and support customer requirements, creating a stronger foundation for continued business growth and expansion of our service capabilities.
2022
Field Service Division
In 2022, we expanded our capabilities with the introduction of a dedicated Field Service Division, extending our ability to support customers beyond traditional workshop-based operations. This division was established to provide greater flexibility and responsive technical support directly at customer sites and operational locations. Services included remote field support, equipment installations, breakdown assistance, planned maintenance and project implementation. This expansion enabled us to work more closely with customers, minimise equipment downtime and deliver practical support aligned with their operational requirements.
2023
Design & Engineering Department
In 2023, we established a dedicated, locally based Design & Engineering Department to strengthen our technical capabilities and provide greater control over the design, development and validation of customer solutions. This investment allowed us to bridge the gap between our manufacturing partner, HMWS, and the end user through a more integrated engineering approach. Capabilities introduced included onsite machine scanning, local component design, 3D-printed prototyping, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), vibration data collection and localised 2D electrical design and harness development. These capabilities provided greater flexibility to develop, assess and refine solutions to meet specific equipment configurations and operational requirements.
2024
EIG - Engineered Installations Group
As the business continued to grow, we transitioned from Engineered Installations to Engineered Installations Group (EIG), reflecting the expansion of our capabilities, services and broader business objectives. This transition represented more than a change in business identity; it established a structure to support the introduction of additional business divisions, expanded service offerings and new areas of technical expertise. The Group structure provided a platform for continued investment, diversification and growth, allowing us to respond to evolving customer requirements and deliver more comprehensive engineering, installation and support solutions across the industries we service.
2025
Custom-Built Facility in WA
In 2025, EIG took occupancy of its first purpose-built facility in Western Australia, marking another significant milestone in the continued growth and development of the business. This investment reflected our ongoing commitment to improving the delivery of our products and services while providing greater capacity to support expanding customer requirements. The facility was designed to better accommodate our operational needs, improve workflow and support the integration of our engineering, installation, distribution and service capabilities, providing a stronger foundation for future growth.

2026
Mackay Branch Opening
In 2026, EIG expanded its operations into Queensland with the opening of our Mackay branch, extending our national service and support capabilities into Australia's eastern mining and industrial markets. This expansion was driven by our commitment to providing customers across the country with the same level of service, technical support and product accessibility, regardless of location. Establishing a local presence in Mackay strengthened our ability to provide regional logistics and distribution support, local installation services and improved parts availability, helping bridge the geographical gap between our Western Australian and Queensland operations.
